Ok, this is my back yard!!!!

That's the big tent from Home Dept we paint in. We're getting ready for a trip to the shop.

I brush painted this little chest with Annie Sloan's Old White then waxed it.  This was the first finished piece using the paint and wax from Annie Sloan. It turned out really nice but I had forgotten how time consuming brush painting was! {I'm a sprayer}

 Ok this is a before and after shoot. This awesome 2 piece cabinet looked like this when I got it.

 And like this when finished! The doors on the top had awful plastic panels which I replaced with chicken wire, sanded and primed then painted with a light blue Oops paint from Home Depot then distressed. I'm not great at taking close up pictures but it turned out great!

Here's what I've been doing!

Sweet little burlap sacks with numbers stamped onto small rings filled with awesome silk florals.

These are so cute for Spring. All of these are at Bay Country Crafters in Millersville Md. Located in the historic Baldwin Hall building. The show will be running through Sunday.

These bags have a piece of osnaburg stitched on the front with a sweet little birdie stamped on.

I found these stamps at AC Moore, they're the clear ones that you stick onto a clear block. I also used a staz on permanent stamp pad. They're nice and dark and permanent.

I took the glass out of some of my old window panes and painted them aqua then added a twiggy wreath with a small amount of florals.

The picture doesn't do justice for this little sign! I took an old cupboard door insert and dry brushed it white, rubbed some candle wax here and there, painted it aqua then scrapped it with a plastic paint scrapper to reveal the colors underneath. I then stamped beach cottage with the same type of clear stamps. I think the size is 2" but not sure.

My newest finds for the shop

 This secret compartment desk/table turned out great, a very light spring green, it had been an ugly tan antiqued color from the 70's!

 This dresser is a solid heavy maple chest on chest that I primed white then my favorite, aqua color.

I found this little mahogany nightstand at my thrift store, gave it a couple of coats of creamy white and voila!

 I got this little gem at an estate sale last weekend! No paint needed here!

It must be Spring because we're very busy!

We've been so busy painting our outside furniture since the weather is finally getting warm! We took these great aqua chairs to the shop Friday.

I've had this awesome vintage wrought iron setee and two matching chairs since last fall! I put a fresh coat of rustoleum and they look great!

I left this wrought iron glider the nice apple green color along with the outdoor cushions. This glider is really neat, the back folds down to make it like a bed for napping!

Love these little cottage white tables with an upper deck. The pictures didn't come out great, it was so sunny on Friday!

I painted these more modern style nightstands made by Broyhill. They're very well built and solid wood {very heavy}! Lots more to come, we've also been doing some estate cleanouts and had to fill both trailers with a clients furniture!
